Koichiro (Sparky) Komiyama
Koichiro Komiyama, CISSP, is the manager of the Global Coodination Division at JPCERT/CC, the Japanese Computer Emergency Response Team. He has worked as a security analyst and led the gathering of security information and publishing multiple security alerts and advisories. His current focus is related to research on phishing, insider threats, and targeted attacks.
Prior to joining JPCERT/CC, he worked for ISS (IBM ISS), where he was in charge of large IDS/IPS system designs and operations.
Takayuki (Taki) Uchiyama
Taki has been at JPCERT/CC since 2008 as an Information Security Analyst. He is part of the Information Coordination Group and the Global Coordination Group. His main tasks include vendor / CSIRT coordination on security (mainly non-public vulnerabilities) reports as well as maintaining communications with the various CSIRT communities throughout the world. Some other roles include, attending and speaking at conferences or local events and conducting training sessions for developing CSIRTs.
Previous work in security include working as a compliance consultant, mainly working with Japanese clients to obtain FIPS 140-2 validations.
His interests outside of the working environment include being an avid sports fan. Following pretty much any sport, he mainly keeps tabs on the NFL, MLB, NHL and NBA. Also while following a game, he will play darts and billiards.
Yukako (Yuka) Uchida
Yuka has been working as Liaison Officer at the Global Coordination Division at JPCERT/CC since the end of 2013.
She is mainly in charge of APCERT Secretariat duties providing administrative support.
Having academic and working experience abroad, she speaks English and Spanish besides Japanese.
